The building is located in the very centre of the city, where the street 28. October Street meets Jungmann Square.
Located at the crossroads of the Old and New Town, the square is close to many monuments, shops, restaurants and cafes. Just opposite the square is the Franciscan Garden, one of the most beautiful parks in the centre of Prague.
Nearby is the famous U Pinkasů pub, where Pilsner Urquell beer was first tapped in Prague, and the Gothic Church of Our Lady of the Snows, with one of the highest naves in Prague.

JN8 is a modern reconstruction of a historic building in the city centre. Built in 1890, the building originally housed the world-famous Thonet brand, a manufacturer of original design furniture, and has passed through different times and styles.
